Father of Damon Williams. He runs Williams Corporation. He pushed his son and at times is an ally and enemy. Lex's season 3 journey is to expose the sisters as witches, and blackmails Mellisa into revealing the secret. Lex learns the sisters secret at the end of season 3. During season 4 he undergoes a new sense of direction, by wanting redemption, and is pitted against Damon. Lex was killed by his own son, when Damon learns the sisters secret, and also that he had kept something hidden from them. Although Damon did not know it, his father Lex was actually a witch hunter and this revelation is not revealed until the third season.
Lex would return once in season 5's 100th episode as an illusion in Damon's mind.
